Westfield is a small family friendly town in New Jersey known for its great places to shop and more importantly, great places to eat! Since many people in Westfield and the surrounding area live an active and healthy life style, it’s no surprise that most of the non-chain restaurants carry healthy alternatives. Some of the favorite go-to places to dine include Xocolatz, 16 Prospect, and most famously, Ferraro’s Restaurant. These restaurants are great locations to meet up with a group of friends, go out with coworkers for a bite to eat for lunch or dinner, or even meet a blind date. I always encourage my personal training clients to continue enjoying the foods they love to eat, but in moderation out of respect for their fitness goals. Without further ado, here are some places to eat healthy in westfield!

If you have a weight loss goal, remember to stay focused when you’re at any of the above restaurants. I like to advise my personal training clients to order water instead of soda, and to take it easy on the alcohol. Having fun is an important part of moving towards your goals, but it comes secondary to staying focused!
