Parks In Clark NJ

Oak Ridge Park

This park is located at the boarder of Edison and Clark on Oak Ridge Rd. It includes multiple fitness trails and an archery range, the only archery range in Central Jersey. This is also the location of Union County’s annual music fest, and 2015’s Rock Carnival. Many of the residents use the trails for hiking, walking, jogging, biking, and dog walking. Oak Ridge Park is a 90-acre county park, located on the border of North Edison, managed by Union County. The park was formerly the 80-year-old 18-hole Oak Ridge Golf Course, which was converted in 2009. The approximately $20 million conversion from the golf course to a county park was met with opposition from local golfers. Although they were against it at first, now, they enjoy the new park but continuously think of great memories when they drive by. The park is also home to the historic Homestead Farm at Oak Ridge.
